    This better work quickly

Now in deep bother. For those who were happy we had a cushion over StMirren well its now gone. So we need to get the finger out and pick up something straight away. I have at the moment no great faith in us beating anyone.

Agree, we desperately need a victory, for the confidence, for the fight ahead, for the club as a whole.
I have slaughters the senior players and past leadership since New year's day in the rain over at Hamilton. However. I'm going to get right behind them today, ad I'm sure we all will.COYW

It is now without any doubt our season starts. Tommy Wright will no doubt play this game tight. Think he will pack the midfield.
The players need to be up for this game like no other this season. Anything less will not do. Massive support from our fans needed. This is it.

Not a good result last night admittedly but as of now we do have 2 games in hand over the Buddies and both are at home.

The result last night never went our way, from now on we should forget other results. Look after our own games, FK everyone else...
As Al says our season starts today...come on the wee well...

That St Mirren result was totally on the cards. They've been building to that for weeks. They've been taking the lead in most games and just running outta steam and losing by the odd goal. We as yet are still light years away from keeping a game tight and putting the opposition under pressure. These new signings have just got to work cos if they are same standard as we've got we are going down with a whimper. We lose today and that likelihood increases 3 fold.

Until last night St.Mirren had gone 31 games without keeping a clean sheet so it had to end eventually.Thistle had 62% of the possession,at the end of the day St.Mirren got the breaks. We have had the breaks in the past and whose to say that if we can score first today we dont get the win and breaks we need. The fans can and will have their part to play as well by starting today right from the kickoff by cheering and encouraging the team for the full game

Yeah and they dont concede like we do when the opposition have 60% of possession and they are better at scoring in their 40% possession. My point stands. You can keep mentally reassuring yourself that we are better than ST Mirren, we are not , we need to change that from today.
