    v Fulham

Well, a much improved shape and overall performance from the shameful displays of late. Spearing looks a great signing. It was quite odd looking ahead and almost being able to make out a central midfield at times. Hanley looks like he's shifted a pound or 2 and has stopped acting like a spoilt child on the pitch. Praise the good Lord for that. Brown was steady away and did the 'hold up the ball' job quite well, looked like he was trying to form a partnership with Rhodes.

Killa was my MOM, could have been a different result today without his last ditch body blocks. Paired up quite well with Hanley. Lowe did OK at right back, (and pushed higher up the pitch than he does in midfield, not sure how that works, but it did today).

Overall though, today gave me hope. Still a long way to go, but hopefully we sunk as low as we could with Wolves and Wigan and hopefully it's time to start playing again. A manager would be a nice addition to the team. But I guess that's just being greedy

    That

    Thanks Dan
Knew I could rely on you for a in depth report
Couldn't make it today so did a saxo and opted for the stats from the beeb
Sound a like olsson had a good game is this the case?
Anyhow I am very chuffed it's a marked improvement as I had lost interest with our limp performances of late
Let's hope we take this into next week's game against watford in a very make or break game.

Olsson, had a decent enough game Robin. He put in some very overhit crosses. Then he gets it wide early in the 2nd half and I say outloud, 'don't cross it,' he whips one in at perfect height for Rhodes at the near post and 2 - 0. He plays a bit too far off players out of posession for my liking and I'd like to see Spurr back, (if he has his form from last season). Overall though, Olsson worked hard today and did a decent enough job
