I think you'll find they do count and that's why United are in the final and Dholly aren't.
Having watched the highlights appeared that the sheep were robbed of a good goal and the DABs second was offside.
I would say the sheep are a better team ththan the DABs as they are higher in the league at the present team. Could change by the end of the season though.

Indeed. It's also why Hearts were papped out when it was still warm enough to have a BBQ leaving the big teams to contest the business end of the competition.
United deserved to win yesterday. Not sure they're a better team than us. It's very even, but our head-to-head record in recent times is favourable from an AFC perspective.
The cups weren't our priority this season and that showed in Robbie's team selections, it's all about winning the league. Aberdeen on the other hand very much fancied themselves to win one of the cups or at least reach a final. They have failed on those.
Yes, agreed we've fallen short on that front this season.Originally Posted by CB_1874
But spare me the ******** about 'concentrating on the league'. Plenty of sides are able to factor in 3/4/5 extra cup games a season without it impacting their league form. Hearts would have been no different but you weren't good enough.
