    Our New players

My scout (pal) in England has sent me this:
Conor Grant. Young left footer, midfield or wing back. Watched him twice since Xmas. Good skills & energy.
Keeper Long. 6ft 4ins should do well & commands his box.
Straker. Left footed, reasonable but got pace.
Johnson. First saw him 2 yrs ago. Had chip on his shoulder but has grown up at K'minster.
Left footed and scout thinks it's a big step up.

They look like a promising bunch. Hope they integrate into the squad and the manager gets the best out of them.

I rarely comment on matters elsewhere but I just watched the most embarrassing press conference ever - where a caretaker manager had to confess that he had players imposed & would have to play them. I expect his pay packet will be some comfort but I almost felt sorry for him!

I see Thomas was driving up yesterday and looking forward to training today so i wonder if all the new signings have arrived now as Johnson and Long arrived on Monday i think

I got a funny feeling that Johnson might be looking to play upfront as a striker role clearly has the pace and power to do so.

Totally agree. Much as I detest everything about both the bigot brothers, I could not believe what I was hearing. It looks as though they are trying to force Kenny McDowal to walk away. That way they will not have to honour his contract
