Pancakes and Yorkshire pudding both lovely. The French claim to have invented the Yorkshire pudding. They do have great crepe restaurants (thin pancakes) where you get savoury fillings for mains and sweet for pudding - lovely with ice-cream and fruit in.
My mum used to do us pancakes on the Tuesday and cornbeef Hash on the Wednesday - always confused me that - for years I thought it was Hash Wednesday.

Dark treacle (molasses) or Golden Syrup. Here's something to help you determine which next time you pour it on your pancakesOriginally Posted by tom12026
Golden syrup is a Newtonian fluid. Its density is approximately 1430 kg.m-3 at room temperature, and its viscosity is 100 Pa.s

You've got too much time on your hands fella..
HAPPY PANCAKE DAY TO ALL MILLERS FANS WORLDWIDE
Lets leave the rams feeling flat tonight. UTM
A with Yorkshire Puddings, you can have savoury or sweet versions.
When I was younger we always had stew with the first batch then some treacle or sugar with lemon/orange juice on the next batch, for a pudding.
Best of both worlds.
I can also vouch for LincsMiller in that round here the mention of gravy/stew on pancakes gets some funny looks!!!
Gainsboro, thats the menu for tonight, followed by Lincs plumb bread which is more like fruit cake than breadOriginally Posted by Gainsbro_Miller
Do you really believe the universe was created without..pancakes?
No, I remember seeing 2001 A Space Odeysey years ago and it showed this giant pancake floating about in space at the beginning of time.
Just had a txt from Stephen Hawkings backing this theory.
