After picking up a head injury late in the game on Saturday skipper Ian Evatt looks set to miss the game against S****horpe United on Tuesday, and Wylde explained the defender's injury.

“He went to Nothern General Hospital on Saturday night and had a CT scan which came back all clear. We have to follow the assessment tools and we then stress him with different types of training to see what he’s capable of doing.

"If he progresses through his training in the next couple of days then he should be available for Rochdale.”
