    Perspective

For all of us who have voiced frustration over the Blues lack of drive (well me at least) last nights viewing was a 'education'. This because I cannot recall the last time I watched MOD as I find it tedious.
I read Champs comment over the Devils and I have to say he was spot on (as is Scholesy) they are dire. I would go as far to say I was far more bored with their 'deliberational' approach (for 75% of the game), than any time at Ewood.
Great credit to PNE (only reason i watched) for their challenge. God knows how much more tedium we would have had to endure if they had not put that first strike away!
Mention must go to the crowd also, I thought they were tremendous, this club should not be in third tier .
If that is the sample of fare from one of our top teams in top tier I am so glad I have not wasted my Saturday nights.

Having just watched their last games (I kept quiet about being at OT to see them play Burnley) I can't recall

It seems we are 100% in agreement ! The two guys who stood out for me were Di Maria and Falcao (just remind me again how much was shelled out on those two !!!) do they deliver as little week by week in the sparkly Prem as last night? If so it makes our 'squandering' pale into insignificance, and that is really saying something. it's just a damn good job they are a global merchandising entity. This in deference to a global footballing machine.

This highlights what galls me, and I constantly rant over. How these guys can, with a clear conscience, pocket the monies they do and give back so little is beyond my comprehension. Hence I have no respect whatsoever for them.

Totally agree. I made reference to this after we thumped Stoke (and Swansea) the self proclaimed 'greatest league on earth' is infact very very poor, if you take away 2 of the richest clubs in the world. The rest are all very average. Man Utd have lost in 1 in 19, that

I just knew him growing up Sax. And to be fair as a person, he has always been good with me, always stops for a chat, sorts tickets. My opinion is based on his ability as a pundit and coach. He shouldve come coached at our level, he was way out of his depth at United.
