55 has been trying for some time now but fails big time, it's a bit embarrassing.

I might bump up the thread to help him out a bit

One thing that really strikes me is their knowledge of our club.
It's impressive but a bit creepy also, almost verging on the obsessive.
My knowledge of their club is admittedly vague.
They won a couple of cups in the sixties and beat Man Utd in the seventies, now they play the long ball game. That's all I know unfortunately.

Oh, and when they manage to creep ahead of Aston Villa they are like flies around ****.

When Villa are doing well you won't hear a whisper.

    Not a f#####g peep.

The story of Buckley and monkey gland injections took place (supposedly) in 1937, my God(!) going back 78 years to fish for the reaction of Wolves' posters...very desperate!

The Bennies are now referring to Sherwood as twice rejected? And this is by the purists football dream that apparently is WBA, and that he is actually only Tim nice but dim and Villa are his level!
I remember a different set of circumstances not long ago when he was a B71 favourite and indeed a shoe in until HE knocked them back!

    I remember that

He was a dead cert from those "in the know".

There was a time when the majority said they would rather go down playing "attractive" football than stay up playing hoofball. Amazing how quickly things change.

    The irony!

It's because Villa are having a nightmare at the moment.

If they manage to string a couple of wins together the sandwell lot won't touch them with a barge pole.

They say it's because they are arrogant.

Deep inside we all know it is pure jealousy at its ugly worst, Villa won a few things on colour tv's, that's the problem.
