    Well done!

A huge well done must be extended to the club for the professional way in which the stewards went about ensuring that the east stand was properly segregated at yesterday's match.

Fans quite rightly raised concerns about the lack of stewarding and hapless segregation at the St. Johnstone match, (see the main 'shambles' thread but everything looked very much in order yesterday.

It can be a steep learning curve when the number of away fans suddenly exceeds expectations, and it must be remembered that historically St. Johnstone did not bring in excess of 500 travelling fans.

Now all they need to do is ditch the gate at the end of the East Stand separating it from the Portland Road terrace . We witnessed a young lad in tears yesterday because he couldn't get in to see his Father . We had no choice but to intervene and defuse the situation

    re: Well done!

You may not be aware that a group of Hearts fans - young ****s mainly - walked through the terracing in the last few minutes yesterday and appeared to meet up with a larger group in the Car Park near the arena.

I cannot think that they moved right through the New Stand so can only assume that, bizarrely, they must have exited the away end when the gates opened and re-entered at the home end.

It is obviously very difficult for the Police/Stewards when individuals are not openly displaying their allegiance but would suggest that closer monitoring of 'high-risk' groups and their movements should be undertaken.

Of course, some on here may see this as unnecessary bullying and harassment rather than effective crowd control.

More concerning though was the fact that one of them was carrying what looked like a sizeable drumstick - no drum in sight - with a menacing looking end to it.

How he managed to walk past several Stewards and Police without being accosted beats me.

Great that things seem to have been better but come on Jardi. It should have been a surprise to nobody that the cup holders were going to bring more than 1000 fans. It was an absolute shambles. The club screwed up.

Was in a mobbed New Bazaar before the game and it was full of Hearts fans ( courtesy of Capt. Blackadder ) and the atmosphere was tremendous.

Also walked a young Hearts fan to the Hole in the Wa' after the match as he wasn't sure how to get there. He was extremely complimentary about our team and also wished they could come down to Dumfries more often.

It has been great having Hearts down here.

So many positives about this season but the ongoing conflict involving the young team needs addressed by both sides. For what it's worth I think all parties should sit down and sort this o

I wore a black wooly hat at the game yesterday whilst standing in the main terrace near the young team. What benefit did that have to Queen of the South FC?

You didn't answer my question. Why are you "very worried"?
