Let's have that statement to maybe settle a little of all of the concerned unrest.
Despair, Dan, Pat and others.
I wonder if there will still be a deafening silence from the owners after this.
Part of me agrees with Pat. That is, let's give GB another season to see what happens.
Part of me reluctantly accepts the need for change NOW. Morale must be very low and some kind of break in the pattern is essential.
But, please, not Warnock.
I sort of hope that GB resigns, so that he can retain some dignity. He deserves that - not the bitter hatred being displayed on social and other media.
our form is as bad as blackpool`s aucks. how much convincing do you need?
and i don`t hate bowyer.. if he does the right thing and goes NOW.
Convincing of what? If you actually read my comments carefully, you would have seen several weeks ago that I said GB had clearly failed and needed to go, if PL status was our only goal.Originally Posted by jordan12rhodes
What I am NOT convinced by is your glib assertion and belief that a sergeant-major figure would automatically solve all the problems.
As I keep repeating - and you keep ignoring - the idea that there are certain managers who are guaranteed to succeed is ridiculous and completely contradicted by the FACTS.
Warnock is an excellent example.
What I and others are most puzzled by is the complete lack of response from the owners. Do they not care about us pottering along in mid-table? If they don't, fair enough: let's give GB another go.

i`m not writi
Even though I am not at all surprised with where we are at now, it seriously and truly gives me no pleasure or satisfaction whatsoever.
It's a sad situation and maybe gona get worse, it desperately needs an announcement from Venkys.
It is utterly unbelievable that we have had nothing whatsoever from the seeming puppet Shaw.
With regards to a declared backing of GB and continued financial support for us I am now very close to declaring that my doubts over GB are fixed and firm ie I really think he needs a fresh challenge somewhere else. That's not to say I think a new man would do better no question, but I think we need to try.

i predicted sam would do a job for us due to his proven track record, and he did. i`m now thinking along similar lines to that again. no more gambles on novices and i include nigel adkins and the bloody brentford manager as being just that too.
we want a LONG PROVEN track record, not short lived odd season successes.
