    Red Lichtie team for tomorrow?

IMO we have to get a result tomorrow so would go with our best XI and if Nicol and McBride are back I feel they should be in the starting XI (hope the deal with the loanees are that we have to play them?) so I would go for :-

    1.McCallum.
    2.Little.
    3.Johnstone.
    4.Nicol.(If Not then McGreever).
    5.McBride.(Same as above or Gordon).
    6.Whatley.
    7.Linn.
    8.Hunter.
    9.McManus.
    10.Murray.
    11.Carreiro.(If on bench then Stewart).

    C'mon the Red Lichties.

If we have a full squad then the time has come for the experienced players to make their mark.I would keep McGeever and Gordon in central defence and have Nicoll and McBride in midfield. Drop Hunter and Carreiro to the bench. Both good impact subs.

For me, Kevin Nicoll was far and away our best player from last season's shambles. Since the switch to centre-back he has been a solidifying presence. It's no coincidence for me that we've struggled since his absence and the loss of Aldin El-Zubaidi. Since their unfortunate and premature absence from the side, the only player to garner any confidence in has been Ricky Little. A player surely most effective; who was in good form; earlier in the campaign, at right-back.

I would like to see Scott McBride return to left-midfield to give us some much needed balance on the flanks. Although he never looks like a right-midfielder I would continue to play Bobby Linn there. As has been stated time and again the experimentation with a diamond four has been ineffectual. I would pair Mark Whatley with Dylan Carreiro centrally. For me Adam Hunter's form is sporadic and therefore he does not warrant a start. Although, arguably the same could be said of Carreiro! Still, both Hunter and Keiran Stewart

Alternatively a good option, as has been stated, would involve playing Scott McBride at centre-back. In this scenario I would like to see Jordan Lowdon included on the left flank. None of Ryan McGeever, Liam Rowan or Liam Gordon have impressed so far.
