    What a cracker ...

    There was no drizzle. Some of you may think that by taking 2 hours and 54 minutes from Wigan to Blackpool with a slight tail wind I must have been with Florence from the Magic Roundabout. Well, you are wrong! The geriatric was on his bike and I'd like to say thank you to all those that I met in Blackpool who said 'well done'. It was a great ride and your kindness was more help than a can of Red Bull.

    (It's not too late to sponsor me; Jinky Ginky below).

    It isn't since some hazy day in May 2013 that I have been in such a good atmosphere. The 90 songs in 90 minutes was brilliant. Well done. The evidence is it worked. All the oldies - Paul Scharner; Uwe and shorts; Roger Roger ... but I didn't hear Mario.

    The last time I saw such a bad pitch was when we played on the young farmers field at school with an old leather ball and blimey it hurt if you headed it on the lacing. Just what were the guys with forks doing at half time?:/
