Do Millwall fans deserve their bad reputation?

Apart from the match in the promotion year of 80/81 at Millwall I have had no problem.

That match was scary. We got in the ground and to the left of us, over the fence, were a load of Millwall Skinheads. They were mainly in their ****s and early twenties. They looked intimidating but their behaviour wasn't too bad. However, they were nothing compared to the Millwall fans on the right of us, who were in the seats. The seats at football matches around this time were usually for pensioners and families but this mob of Millwall in the seats were something else. The maddest bunch I have ever seen. All of 'em were geezers in their late 30s and 40s. Vocal, aggressive and very hostile.

Before the teams came out I was praying we wouldn't win. Rod Fern then had the audacity to score for us in the 3rd minute. My celebration wasn't muted. It was non existent.

We won 1-0 and thankfully we were kept in the ground for half an hour. When we got to our bus all the windows had been smashed. It was

Surprised it has taken this long for a thread of this ilk to appear. Some 'Wall fans will know Rotherham already, having been up here to join in the Far Right Demos following the child abuse scandal. You should be safe tomorrow so long as you don't parade around in Italian Sports designer clobber giving it large or look as if you are not a pure White Christian Anglo Saxon

I went to The New Den in 2001 and it was one of the scariest away games I've ever been to,we had to have a police escort in and out of the ground, riot vans horses dogs helicopter the police had the full works out, and Millwall won 4-0 that day dread to think what it would have been like if they'd lost !!!

Look at the age of some of this lot - baton sideways up the ar5e would be too good for them

    brainless two-hats

Perhaps they should dock more points from their team - get them where it hurts

to answer the title question.YES.and don't kid yourself you thought they didn't.

I did see fans on either side giving a bit of banter but from 5mins in you could tell it was going to kick off with them.

but I think the club of Rotherham has some to take a but of blame as I couldn't belive how near they where.and it didn't help with friends for a fiver as well as if these tickets wasn't on sale then they would of been more room between both sets of fans.

don't get me wrong you where looking at around 250 dickheads and there no excuses.

and why cant they let them stay behind? human rights what a load of ******** they let jihadi john do what he liked.

    get a grip country.
