    Farewell Ollie...

    sad to see him go as I thought he would be good for our club. He did his best but it did not work.

    One of the main reasons is the disparity in wealth in the Championship. Several of his targets were unobtainable, we saw Wolves n cardiff picking them up. Just like last season when we bid for Chris Wood. The Foxs n QPR both went up because of Billionaire owners, only Burnley came out of it with any credit.

    Now I see that Forest have bid £8 mill for Rhodes. When we see that we have never even spent £1 mill on a player. So we are left with aging players like Dunno n Fordy, past their best, loan players and journeymen who don't perform at their best.

    So I wish Ollie well for the future.

    Agree with you claw, it was always going to be a very hard job whoever took it but I think we was all expecting a bit more from ollie. sadly it never worked out for him at millwall.
