Welcome back to the Coventry Doonhamers on their biannual trip to Palmerston to watch Cowdenbeath game on Saturday

Get Neil Martin along as guest of honour?
Or Andy Thomson for the Southend gentleman if that is this game also?

Any other players common to QoS and either of these clubs? Neil MacFarlane will no doubt be busy already this weekend.

Seen Andy a couple of times this season as he is manager of South of Scotland League side Edu Sports Academy (French students based in Hamilton). Not sure if new Coventry manager Tony Mowbray kept Neil McFarlane on after Pressley got the bullet ! Met big Neil Martin a few seasons ago when the Hibs supporters club from his pub in Tranent visited the Globe Inn (Howff) in Dumfries prior to a league cup tie at Palmy - he looked as fit as a butchers dog for his age that day and is 74 now.

McFarlane has been kept on until end of season by Mowbray. They knew each other when at opposing Edinburgh sides.

Andy Thomson would be fantastic!! I was so excited when he joined Southend. Shame we were pants at the time he joined us!

Unfortunately big Shrimp Andy will be 60 - odd miles from Palmerston on Saturday at Hamilton as his team have a home game.

Not a problem, as I have loads to look forward to already! Not sure getting the 5.25am train is one of them though!!
