    Will Hughes

I have been impressed with this young lad this season. I saw him play for the u21s at Molineux and he looked a very good player. Again last night he was the instigator of all your attacking play, comfortable on the ball and displaying an eye for a pass.

My question is, should you not gain promotion this season, will you be able to retain his services when the 'big boys' come calling?

Much as you may want to, the lure of the bright lights and pound signs can turn a young head.

It'll probably come down to cash, as usual.

He's signed a contract extension so it will depend on a couple of factors:

    1) How confident he is that the club can get promoted the season after (and who the manager is)

    2) IF a big club comes in and how much they are offering.

We don't have to sell and we certainly aren't going to give the lad away. But if the money is right then he'll go and I'd expect a chunk of that money to be used to strengthen.
