    come on...

    come on you genius's of today, how can I download a film longer than 2 hours from the computer, my discs only do up to 2.00, can you get longer cd's?

    Ray, You can can only get blank DVDs in two formats - single (4.7g) or dual layer (9.4gb).

    The dual are a bit expensive, but you should be able to fit a 2+ hour film on a 4.7g dvd depending on what it is going to be played on and what quality you want it at.

    Are you using them on a standard dvd player? And can you tell me what software you are using to burn the films onto a disk?

    I'm burning them from the cd player that came with the computer, and the software is 'realplayer', any help?

    Not sure on realplayer Ray.

    I know you can lower the quality or bit rate to increase the amount of video you can fit on a disk.

    Might be best doing a Google search.

    Let me know if you're struggling and I'll have a look for you.
