    Player of the Year awards

The first awards of this season have been voted on by the Sanquhar QOS Supporters Club and will be presented at the annual dance on 11th April to Kevin Holt PLAYER OF THE YEAR and to Danny Carmichael DUNCAN PATERSON MEMORIAL AWARD.
Who else will be in the running for the other fan club awards ?

I'm not surprised to see a fews in contention. However, after much consideration, Dowie has to be in with a good chance of picking up a gong.

Dont really like choosing a player this time of year with a chunk of games still to play. Contenders for me are Lyle, Dowie and Holt. Holt is the most improved player for me, his defensive qualities have come on leaps and bounds this season as i think that was a big flaw in his game. We all know what he can do going forward. Lyle would be my player of the year if he was getting a more regular start. Would probably agree that Dowie would just shade it, he has been a rock at the back this season. Got off to a slow start but just seems to have got better and better the lomger the seasons went on.
