COULD BE WORSE: Hearts 2-0 QoS but Dumbarton 1-0 Falkirk!

Well have Falkirk just let go of their advantage!?

In 1st half we started well with some possession but then Hearts go up the other end and score with their first serious attack. We had a lot of possession without creating anything. In 2nd half we were unlucky with a deflected Ozturk free kick making it 2.

Was happy to see McKenna back in the team today and thought that Higgins was excellent.

Thought we kept the ball better than on Tuesday and was pleased we played with two up top. We had 50% territory and possession but couldn't create a really good chance. Lyle blasted over from 6 yards but had already been flagged for offside.
Lyle and Reilly didn't get much change out of the Hearts defence and Danny didn't get behind their full back.
Decent finish by Sow for the opener but the second was a shambles with a shin high shot getting through our wall.
Still Falkirk c***ing up at Dumbarton is pleasing.

I don't suppose they had any input but I think Falkirk are advantaged by playing their re-arranged match with Cowdenbeath (SF date) this midweek.

As I recall, we played our League game after the 2008 semi in the following midweek - a victory over Partick by 2 goals to 1, I think.

Of course, you would expect Falkirk to beat Cowdenbeath at any time but I suspect they want to get as many points as possible on the board before they come to play us on April 12.

The advantage though is that after their setback today they have an ideal opportunity to get back on track against Cowdenbeath instead of their next match being against the in-form Raith Rovers.
