He hasn't been on his own, this is a myth. He had Jim Thomson helping him initially, and now Paul Burns. As well as Kenny Arthur and Liam Jukes. That's probably as big a backroom team as any other similar sized club. Would all those foaming at the mouth about "an experienced assistant" be happy with that line up but with Burnsy replaced by Gerry McCabe?
