Whatever eventually happens you would have to think it will be hard to break the Asian connection in the immediate future and I don't doubt Yeung despite his internment has many strings to his bow and will I'm sure have ways to have some influence in some form irrespective of Hong Kong laws,for others outside of Asia I think they see the situation as very unsettling and too much a tangled web even with a good clear offer to buy,but then again I'm not privy to the world of high finance and could be wide of the mark.

Precisely- we just have to suck it and see.. I hear there's an ugly rumour doing the rounds that not all entrepreneurs in Hong Kong are shady, crooks and/or inept.
