The Saints did better than my efforts lads. Me and the missus chose Al Co and it ate dirt at the first fence.

Shutthebackdoor with Everard McCoy on top faded at the last. The winner went strangely limp at the end as well.

Turns out I was better at the Scottish National than the English. Backed two horses on Sat, both at 33-1, they came 1st and 4th. More than made up for the Aintree fiasco.

Already re-invested some of that in Giovanni Canaletto for the Derby.
