My mum was a pools collector...:-) just thought id add that

Her husband won the money and she spent it.all within three years.She was from Yawkshire ,that explains a lot ,strong in arm thick int head Yawkshire born and Yawkshire bred... Just like nowadays eh lads.

Ok in my opinion this isnt a sad story at all, Ive got no time for her to be honest.

Shes most famous of course for spending (or totally pi*sing away) all that money, which would be at least £3 million by todays standards apparently. Yes if we're honest, most of us would do the same if we were given the chance wouldnt we ?


But the main reason Ive got no time for her is some of my family and freinds in my home town in West Yorkshire actually knew her, and could say a few things which would surprise you
