What about the James Ward, was treated badly by Albion Rovers, he seemed to do a decent job there before being dumped for Young
Meant to add I would imagine the AFC Board would have to make an appointment this coming week as all our players are out of contract in a few weeks time apart from Bobby Linn (legend and MUST not be sold) and Mark Whatley (great player but could be moving to an SPL club).
If we bring in a completely new face he will probably not know anybody which could be a problem but if we brought in somebody like Bollan (another great result for Airdrie today) or Farningham/Gibby at least they would know the majority of the players from playing with them or managing against them in the past.
Gibby is a young vibrant Manager at Broughty who have done well since he took the helm over and is a great character in the dressing room and I would love for him to be part of the new set up at the club.

Been told by 4 different very experienced football folk that a certain person has applied for the AFC Managers post and every one has said "do not touch him with a barge pole as he is a bad egg and is trouble with a capital T"; do not want to him but hopefully the AFC Board have sussed this out.
There is every possibility the club are aware of this persons demeanor having probably been tipped off by your own contacts.Alternatively a subtle 'E' mail from yourself could alert them.
Are there any bookies offering odds on new manager appreciate if could be pointed in right direction
Notice in to-day's papers that B.Kerr interested in the above, depending on the other candidates probably not too bad a choice aided by K.Gibson.Both live locally and have A.F.C.at heart.
P.S.In the local paper that J.Sheerin has scored 37 goals for Musselburgh and is attracting attention from
Raith and Livie.
Fourth post in this topic. Who did steeplejack want? Jim Weir. Still waiting to be proved wrong.........
