Big Vic wants out - not happy for some time, and Spurs looking likely.
Could all be a load of chuff though.
According to some Italian journo, we've signed Vlaar on a two year deal. To be announced next week.
I thought he was injured?

If we can get a good wedge for him I'd let Vic go. Whilst there's no doubt he offers great protection to the CBs, his general distribution & awareness isn't all that. Scheiderlin made him look good last season, Vic's worst performances were when Morgan was out injured. Besides, I'm liking the look of Romeu so far, he needs to settle but he & an eventually fit Clasie will do well.
With 2 up front possible rather 4-4-1-1, or derivatives thereof, we may need to reshuffle anyway, but that means having the right personal.
Just paper talk.

SAINTS CONFIDENT IN VAN DIJK CHASE
Southampton are confident they will be able to prise defender Virgil van Dijk away from Celtic after their early exit from the Champions League, according to Sky sources.
Mayuka gone to Metz, three year deal.
Good grief, he was rubbish.
Ramirez next hopefully.
I'm a Celtic fan and VVD is a very good player but if you sell Wanyama I think VVD would be a great replacement because he is a better footballer than Vic and I think would be suited as a defensive midfield player.
