So Lumsden is the new gaffer?

WTF! It's like being given the news that your long lost and estranged son is in fact Harold STEPTOE!

    "What a bleeding disappointment"!!!

Would have preferred to have waited until after the play offs, once we know what league we are playing in before any decision was made - this would have allowed the board more time to review Lumsden's success in the short term as care taker manager.

Lumsden would have been highly involved with Moore in team talks, pre match tactics, coaching and team line ups ...

Having the player's respect and trust is all good, but it's the results on match day that matters ...

Most assistant managers don't succeed in the hot seat, which is why the majority of assistant managers work best as being number two.

Would have preferred Lumsden to have been care taker manager on a temporary basis and if we gain promotion could then have been offered the top job.

We don't know what happens behind the scenes, but the appointment seems to have been rushed.

If Lumsden can get us promoted via the play offs then the board can take the credit for the appointment.

We will know in 2 weeks which league we are

I see he has been appointed `fulltime' - is that not the first ever Lichtie manager appointed on that basis?

If so, does that indicate a change of strategy for the club?

I would imagine full-time simply means permanent non-caretaker.

After all the negative comments about Todd & loan players we win 5-0 under the new manager & 3 goals scored by loan players! Let's hope all those who said some shocking things hang their heads in shame!U
