2nd Division Team Of The Year

Well done to both Bobby Linn and Simon Murray making the XI and probably Mark Whatley must feel unlucky to be in it and for the majority of the season Shagger must have been close.

Funny to see that Marvin Andrews also made the XI a player (myself included) suggested we sign him as a stop-gap in January yet others scoffed at the idea those that did must think the players who voted for him "have not a clue about fitba"

In 16 league games up until the end of December, Elgin conceded 27 goals, hardly the stats of a commanding tight mean defence.

I think anyone with half a brain can see this was a pisstake or pity vote.

Elgin got tighter when he left, Montrose were tighter before he arrived.

He was involved in 4 wins all season. Pitiful.

Remember this is the PFA team of the year, so all the votes were by the players in the league, no bigwigs or people on a committee just the players who face one another week in and week out.
