    Gavin Reilly

Congratulation to Gavin for making the SPFL Championship team of the year. Thoroughly deserved as he is an outstanding young talent and hopefully we can hold onto him for a year or two more. Hope that he does not decide on jumping to a minor SPL team, although that be us shortly, and holds out for a move to England where the rewards will be more consummate with his inherent talents.

If you believe the Sun today's edition says although several clubs are interested only Hearts would be willing to pay Queens the compensation fee for wee Gav.

Selfishly I would hope that Gavin stays with us for another year rather than warming a bench elsewhere. Surely a further 12 months of leading the line at Queen's will further enhance his growing reputation and then his opportunities will be considerably increased and he can pick and choose where he wants to ply his trade rather than jump too early.

The next 2 matches will enhance the reputations of the big 6 at Queens, with every scout in the country able to analyse every move that Gav, wee Dan, Holty, Mcshane, Durns and Dowie make, - with young Kidd coming into that category as well.

Let's hope that its more than 2 matches, but this month could see a mass exodus of talent from Palmerston as clubs all over the UK have the opportunity to watch our players from the luxury of their own homes, before putting in an offer that no-one can refuse.

We wouldn't be due a penny for Dan or Durnan who are out of contract . Dowie has just signed for another season

Both Holty & Gavin are also out of contract but I'm pretty sure we'd be due some sort of development fee if they move on

    McShane is going nowhere

We would be due a development fee for Durnan if he left in the Summer window as he would still be under 23.
