What's happening to the players from my era? One just been jailed for assault as he seems to have a drink problem and another's got Altzheimer's...depressing

Two of my grandparents had Alzheimer's and its a horrible illness for both them and the family.
I've done research into this and a couple of cups of coffee a day helps stop it getting worse apparently. Also coconut oil also helps.
Regarding alcohol its one of the worse drugs there is. I had a debate with my cousin who is a pc who drinks but was condemning any other form of drug use like cannabis. It was quite hard trying to explain that what they do is no different.

Any kind of health issues are certainly not to be relished, for sure.
But. I think that whoever coined the saying "Never complain about getting old - some people were never lucky enough to have had the chance" was a very wise person indeed.

My latest (I seem to be on a bit of a run since turning 50)
just came back from a week in Zante. Spent most of my time beneath the parasol where as I loved laying out in the sun all day. Just found it too hot

I'm not a fan either however having an 8 yr old is pretty refreshing sometimes and does make me feel young although 42 ain't young

Gets harder Dazzy mate. Try playing football with a 7 year old when you're touching 51, not as refreshing.
They say that you know you're old when things that used to take you 5 mins now takes all day and what you could do all day., you can now only do for 5 mins (clear those dirty minds fellow Villans).
On a brighter economic note, I only have to buy 2 six packs of Stella for a Saturday
