*** pride or social drop outs?

Ok a bit controversial I know but listen I am neither *** or Homophobic but I must protest at some of the sights seen in Birmingham Yesterday while attempting shop with my family, Guys wearing shorts up to their knuckles and not much else, topless women on the streets and some guys so wacky they looked scary, well I certainly would not want to be locked in a lift with any of them!
Yes, I'm all for being proud of what you are and not wanting to be sheep but was this an excuse for all the wackos to come out or was it really for pride in who you are?
My family felt quite intimidated by some of these characters especially my 11 year old!
I'm sorry but I just do not get it, party, yes, celebrate, yes but dress up like it was Halloween, Umm No!
Oh well sorry for being an old fuddy duddy but wanted to hear off anyone who witnessed anything similar either yesterday or in todays the main march, I'm sure many villa fans will be walking through and court up the festival on the way to the ground.

Not sure it's any different to a St Patrick's day parade, just an excuse to get hammered in the street with like minded people one day a year.
