    Who can forget Andy King?
First memories were he was a big "need" in my first Panini sticker book, six years later he was at Molineux in, as you said eve, dark days.
Ten in twenty odd games is a great return in the poor team(s) we had then.

    God bless, Andy.

    re: RIP Andy King.

Apart from his time at Wolves, I particularly remember Andy King as an Everton player alongside the prolific Bob Latchford where he amassed 68 goals from 243 appearances and secured immortality with their fans when, in October 1978, he scored his most famous goal, a dipping 20-yarder past Ray Clemence in the Merseyside derby. It secured Everton's first win over Liverpool in seven years and it proved to be the highlight of his career.

A quality player that I was pleased to see at Wolves.

RIP Andy and thanks for all you gave to the game.

His funeral was today and the service was St. Luke's church next door to Goodison Park.
