I've decided to set myself a goal to run the London marathon next April for the charity the British heart foundation and in memory of my dad lee who recently passed away from a very rare heart infection at the age of 44 known as endocarditis. Most of us can a friend or family member whose suffered from some sort of heart condition so I think this is a great charity. I'm no expert when it comes to raising money for charity as I've never done so before but need to raise a minimum of £2000 to be accepted into the race. This seems a bit of a tall order but I'm going to give it a go. I'm hoping with the help of fellow footy fans in the championship I can get off to a fast start. In just over a day I've raised £55 which is a decent start so if everybody on these great boards donated a pound I would easily raise this great amount for this good cause. If you can kindly help out me out in any way my page is: www.justgiving.com/ricky-derrick

Ps all the best for next season
