Don't get cocky Hibs blew 2 goal lead last season there is a lot of hard work ahead but we have done the hard part just need to finish it off on Sunday but a draw would do me let's enjoy the night but no over confidence please
I reckon that with Sevco missing McGregor we can look to take a minimum of 4 off them on Sunday.
What do others think?

I think we need to go at them and try to score but itwillbevery, very tight indeed.
If we were two up with 20 mins left we wouldn' t feel safe, 90 mins more than enough for them to turn it round.
And if Hammell/Pearson not fit we'll be in bother.
Momentum swung when Hammell went off then Pearson going made it worse.First goal will be huge. McCall will be telling his players you only need to get two goals in the 90 mins and if he gets one early its game on. Equally if we get one early the pressure is right on them. The biggest issue we have now is weight of expectation. I dont care how happy clappy folk are that result was not expected. The pressure was on Rangers to perform. That pressure now swings to us with all the weight a big crowd brings to us and the expectation is for us to finish it off.Originally Posted by Handsome_Devil
Can Rangers be as utterly honking two games on the stoat. I dont think so but hope so.
Maybe this will make you believe what we are up against - view external link

Ive always thought Rangers have been sh1te. My fears are always about us we shoot ourselves in the foot so often , tonight we didn't and Ill have everything crossed they don't get the first goal on Sunday. I thought referee was ok tonight but reading some other teams message boards they thought Madden gave Rangers everything in second half. - view external link
What an amazing position to find ourselves in at 'half time' but I would expect IB will be working hard at keeping the mood in the dressing room steady and focused.
It's quite apparent that there was a game plan tonight and it worked really effectively. If we manage to stick to the game plan for Sunday in the same manner, then rangers simply won't have the quality to beat us.
The first goal will be all important (as it was tonight) but for me, everything depends on which motherwell turns up. Will it be the motherwell who won handsomely tonight, the motherwell who routed st mirren in April or the motherwell who collapsed at st mirren or thistle in may.
I believe the pressure remains on rangers and whilst there'll be some twitchy bum moments, we shall prevail!!!
ISee, this is the danger for us ahead of Sunday, that we allow ourselves to get carried away and think it is job done. It is most certainly not and the first goal will be crucial. We get it, great I think we will see it out but they get it and our @rses will start twitching big time and I don't think it'll end well for us.Originally Posted by WoodyG
We were great tonight but we fell away badly in the last 30 minutes and that game could easily have finished 3-3 had they taken their chances and Long hadn't played a blinder. We need to start Sunday the way we played from our first goal tonight until the hour mark, play at a high tempo and go for it because if we sit back we will allow them onto us and we will concede.
It is only half time in the tie, just remember that.
