    N Ireland v Qatar International

See we have arranged a friendly international on Sunday 31st May at Gresty Towers.
This does mean that any potential pitch work will be delayed till after then, as there is no way any will be done and finished in time.
One thing though, the Qatar team should be at home with all the sand on the pitch - view external link

Excellent timing (apart from the fact that it's my daughter's birthday ). It gives us a good day out to break up that short - actually too long for me - spell of nothingness between gratitude that we've missed the drop and dreamy speculation that it will all change - known as the meaningless pre-seasons.

If they are to rip it up again after this match it will be less than 10 weeks to the start of the 2015 season.

So any friendlies could be ruled out at home.
