A case of mistaken identity ...

As some of you may have noticed, people seem to have been getting myself and LMV mixed up more than usual, recently. It has always happened occasionally though, most memorably when I got congratulated on my engagement to Scotty. Nos mentioned ... umm Sam.

So, I was wondering if there are any posters you just can't tell apart ...?

When I first joined VM and the board was a sea of new and stranges, I somehow managed to merge Nuclear and Exiled into the same person - getting very confused when Nuclear talked about getting the train "up" to see Villa matches, as surely he has to come across the water from Eire! Of course, I can tell them apart now - I just look out for the Stella splash on Exiled's Villa shirt now. I still think they've got a very similar style of writing and sense of humour though ...

Visually - it's Nuc again confusing me, I get Nuc and Yubbs mixed up with their avatars. It doesn't last long though - as soon as I realise the poster is

I so want to meet you guys some day, you are both funny.

Just for the record Fency, Lefty and Freer are the same person.

Bingo, Bongo, Bongo's Dad, Bongo's next doors neighbours cat, Bingo is Bongo are all misrepresented by an alien being who controls the sasquatch population of the Bermuda Triangle.

Nuc and Yubby because of the avatar
Bushy and Yub always mixed up because of their accents. They sound exactly alike when I read their posts.
Oz and an Oak tree, the bloody guy is huge.
    I bet there are others.
Maybe VillaJohn and HonestJohn for what reason I have no earthly idea?
Aides Baggy and that character Andy on Little Britain

Not a case of mistaken identity as such, but when I first joined VM, Miss Gullible here really believed that AV was Yubby's dad and that Statesey was 103 or whatever advanced age Yubby had him at. It was a few more weeks before I tuned into Yubby's weird wavelength and discovered I had a long lost brother and a new mum and dad.

You can pull that bottom lip up now, Yubby. As I said, I'm on your weird wavelength now so of course AV's your dad.

As for your other dad, I'll let him deal with you himself when he's read what you've just written about him. You are going to be in soooooo much trouble!

Our family tree is quite complicated though, isn't it, bro.
