    Andy Williams

Would be a terrific signing. 22 goals for Swindon last season, bags of experience but only 28 years old.

Quality wingers also lined up so with Andy Williams and Paddy Madden in the team we'd score goals for fun. I hope we get him.

I hear he was at GP for his medical yesterday, though Millwall are also said to be interested in him.

    Hope he comes to Scunny!!

Reports suggest he's probably not coming here.

Gone to Doncaster on a three year deal. He's quoted as saying he was impressed by the structure, stadium and training facilities at Doncaster.

Just goes to show that facilities do matter when it comes to signing players. This time next year we would probably have signed him. Hopefully he'll be regretting his decision by then as we will have better facilities than them as well as having a better league position.

Time to move on to the next target. I'm sure there are others that could do as good a job, possibly younger with a more physical presence and a better record regarding injuries.
