    re: Ashes 2015

Unfortunately Yubbs the weather is set fair and the Ashes will be played on 'Result pitches'.

Cant see our pop gun attack taking 20 wwickets in a match or chasing down 300+ in a 4th inns, so am not really over confident mate.

Will I still enjoy the series?

    Hell yeah !!!

It will be a tight series but I think we'll just edge it. Certainly not the one sided affair the Aussie pundits are predicting. I see the poms are already having ago at Smiths fidgety batting technique. It works well though but could be undone with good seaming conditions.

Looking forward to another ashes battle. Bring it on!!!

Nice one LMV, make sure Scotty is driving so that you can take a few refreshments on board, should you get thirsty . .

Have tickets for the first 2 days at Edgbaston, staying in Sutton (nephew driving ). Test match tickets are the main reason I keep my Warks membership going but still take in a few games when we come over every summer.

Hope the two of you have a cracker, Cardiff is some city.

Exiled - sadly I will be chauffeur for this one - but I'm sure he will be thirsty enough for the two of us!!!!

Been to Cardiff plenty before - I really like it... especially chippy ally

We are going to Edgbaston for T20s final day - went last year when the Bears won it - was SUPERB - and as a bonus I got to see Freddy Flintoff play (legend!) Really looking forward to going again this year.

Lets hope England turn up this ashes series and we both get to see great cricket..

Have a great day folks, hope the weather behaves. Feeling rather jealos, I been havnt been there since the redevelopment. I played there twice back in the late 70s early 80s when it was Sophia Gardens (just a field with a pavillion, Glamorgan played alot at Swansea C.C. back in them days).

Have a ball n give those convicts hell .

Haddin's dropped catch on Root could be a massive missed chance

End of Day 2, the English with their noses in front.

    I love the English crowds

    Aussies Outplayed outclassed all match.

Questions over Clarke, Watson and Haddin for me still remain.

Clarke will stay because he's captain and his record is one you would give him extra chances. (how good was his catch)

Watson if he's not going to bowl, move on play one of the Marsh's

Haddin will stay because we haven't got a decent enough cover.(if he catch's Root first innings potentially a different result)
