    Cardiff back in for Russell...

...according to the DET, Cardiff City are showing renewed interest in JR.

Talk is of a £1m bid...any views? Is he now surplus to requirement and if so, is one million enough?

Personally I like him and his attitude but I'm not sure he's ever really delivered.

I'd keep him, he has something different to offer the team when needed.

You're dead right. Smashing lad really excellent attitude to the game but his end product is not brilliant. You're never confident he'll end up putting the ball in the onion bag when he gets a chance. However his fight and determination could be copied by others.

£1m too cheap. Fantastic squad player who like most wingers/forwards is frustrating at times but on his day devastating.

For me he is a confidence/team form player. When we are on song he looks brilliant but when it got tough he was not effective at all

What did we end up paying for him?

Would not enjoy seeing him play against us, seems to love everything about Derby

It's "Deal" for a million. Great attitude, fires up the teams and crowd, but more often than not, he shows the first and last touch of Theo.

I like JR and he seems to play better if he has a run of games.

Sadly I can't see him making the first eleven this season and for some reason he struggles to make an impact from the bench.

Considering he was bought as a striker then he's done brilliantly for us in the wider postion.

If we can get 1.5 / 1.75 Million then I'd be inclined to sell but other than that I'd prefer to keep him

    Cheers

Agreed another one I would not like to see leave. Still don't think we have seen the best from him.
I fear his opportunities will be limited this season and if he goes, I will wish him all the best.

Got a link inside Cardiff trying to get the information to see if a bid has actually been made or not.. I certainly know he is on their list and the intention was to see who we get in first!

    I'll update you shortly
