Every club in the league as well as premier League are splashing huge amount of money on players. I have never seen so much money being spent from every club from 1st to 2nd division this is utter madness.

Really bad time to have a transfer embargo (Forest, Blackburn) or have no money (Bolton, Birmingham). Bound to get left behind!

The teams under embargos or the ones with no money have no pressure on them and won't fall flat on there faces,the ones that have splashed the cash might end up with egg on there faces.

Promotion gets harder every season and the tension gets increased with teams improving each year on buying players. This season has just gone off the charts with how many teams are spending huge amount of money to achieve thier goals is incredible, it's going to be a interesting exciting season.

when you say "spending has gone off the charts" you do realise that is is currently some £ 335 million DOWN on last year - albeit that the transfer window is open for anthoer month or so and manchester United have the diMaria money burning a hole in their pockets

£500m has been spend so far and is on it's way to braking the record but it's still off the charts with the fact more clubs are spending huge money which will help to brake that record.
