Last years Paul Burns Testimonial Dinner was at the same venue and was £35 a ticket.

Not every Queens fan is a member of a supporters club. It's an individual's own choice as to whether or not you want to attend. I wasn't at Paul Burns' Testimonial Dinner but a quick break down of the price of Saturday's ticket - £5 raffle tickets, £5 towards Queens Youth, drink on arrival £5 which means you had a beautiful 3 course meal with coffee, at a premier venue in Dumfries, plus a live band for £35. Looking forward to the next one.

Nobody's denying you didn't have a good time . The point that's being made is the Ball was far too expensive and it wasn't aimed at the majority of people who attend Queens games week in week out . Queen of the South football club is a business and the fans are the lifeblood of that business . Trying to keep the majority of supporters happy should be a priority IMO .

Those who attended should of had the option of buying raffle tickets or making a donation towards the youth development and let's

I see plenty of "normal" Queens fans sitting in hospitality , I'm sure the travel club do this at least once a year and its £70 a pop for the cheapest package. If someone is willing to pay for hospitality then £50 for a nights entertainment sounds like a bargain to me.

I've had to use the edit function to reply to Jonny's post below, reply option is scored out???

Jonny, not trying at all. Merely pointing out that the suggestion that the price of the Hall of Fame night was priced out of the normal fans market is nonsense. The Morton hospitality is irrelevant, the normal price is £70 and taking away the matchday ticket and a program that's still over £50 for a 3 course meal and a pie at half time(that's if you're quick enough to get down the stairs quick enough so I've been told). If what has been suggested is true then I would assume that next week the blue box will be full of rich and affluent locals with no interest in Queen of the South.Mind you,Alloa have just scored so there mi

Some TC members were at hospitality for the rearranged Morton game but at a massively reduced price only because it was empty .

    Good try though
