Apologies, for I am just back from hols and have just been told the story was in the Standard when I was away. Anyway, great that this young girl, a fanatical Queens fan - - who tragically died in 2009- has her portrait immortalised on Palmerston's walls forever. I take it Jo McSkimming drew and painted it and what a brilliant job she has done in brightening up the surrounds of Palmerston with her artwork.

There is an article about it on the OS as well JR. Dated the 4th of August. The way the new OS works I don't think you can link straight to a news article, so you'll just have to find it yourself which is a bit annoying.
