    Champs,

Was said elsewhere that last season we did not have £10 million in sales to spend, plus the Prem money may have gone on the day to day running of the club, I know we could have borrowed against future payments (parachute money etc), but it appears the board did not seem to want to do that.
Changing from joint chairmen to a single chairman, new Chief Executive, and a restructure of the recruitment team may also have had some bearing.

Spending like they have is betting the ranch at this level. Nothing less than promotion now will do..

Pressure firmly on Burnley and dyche..

    Saxo,

Around £10 million coming in from sales, plus parachute money does not equal betting the ranch, now spending 2 or 3 years of Sky money before you get it..........

Very good signing probably only worth 4-5 million what I saw of him when he played for Luton I could see him playing in a much higher league and he proved it for Brentford last season
Good buy clarets just a little overpriced but then again we can talk

You'd already spent near 10m before Gray's signing. Your pushing 20m so far and still need midfield and defensive signings.. As I say, pressures on..fail to go up and your looking at a rovers type losses situation without the safety net of a venkys to cover for it .. Risky.. Ffp will be watching with interest too..

I wonder if dyche has given your board an ultimatum, back me or I'll go elsewhere. Looks that way to me..

No chance, sales and buys will be about equal at 13 mill at the moment. More buys to come though!
