    Statement from Peter Swann

    A good statement from the chairman but it won't stop the boo boys. As always there is a small group with loud voices who are only happy when they are criticising all aspects of the club. They certainly don't represent the majority of Iron fans and there is absolutely nothing the club can do or say that will change their attitude. They get off on their daily rants and having publicly nailed their colours to the mast would never be brave enough to admit they were wrong. As each of their beefs against the club fall they will desperately search out new ones to satisfy their inflated egos. I guarantee when the new ground is up and running and regardless of how the team are doing, the whinging and slating of the club will continue unabated.

    All you can say to Peter Swann is that it was ever thus at this club since the rise of social media. The previous chairman received the same treatment as has every manager bar one, and he had to achieve the near miraculous to avoid it. Swann must hav

    I agree, Mr Swann is a genuinely nice fella, who has rescued our football club from almost certain oblivian, and there was much to like about his statement.

    I hope he has learned to ignore the bottom feeders who are only happy when they are moaning. They might claim to speak for the fans, but they don't. The vast majority of us have supported The Iron through thick and thin, and always will, whoever is in charge.

    In the absence of a conspiracy the usual suspects simply make one up, it gets soooo boring.
