    Next up - Partick Thistle

The players have plenty to prove on Saturday. If they deliver we might have a happy weekend. - view external link

Was going for draw or defeat before Barra sacking now thinking about win but tbh I'm not quite sure how it will go as surely we will get a reaction if not it's the players that need dropped next time

If the players truly care about the club as much as they would like us to believe, then after the alleged set to in the dressing room then the only result should be a convincing win for MOTHERWELL as every player who was criticised should be bursting a gut to prove their doubters wrong. But I just hope it's not. another occasion when the players let the fans down.

I am, in our difficult circumstances, pleased that Craigan is around the place. He knows, better than most, what we'll be looking for from our team on Saturday. I haven't a clue about his level of tactical nous, man - management skills or anything else, but he knows what the jersey means, and I hope that he can drive the point home to the squad. There just can't be a feeble display on Saturday!
    How's Pearson's injury?

As has been indicated that half the team cant be arsed when the other half do care we can look forward to another defeat you dont paper over those cracks in one go.

You can if the half that couldnt be arses decide to burst a gut as imo there is a good team in there if they put in the effort and surely after all that's happened this week they will

If these guys that can't be arsed are not willing to change they're attitude then kick their arses down fir park street. If they aren't willing to change then they shouldn't be near the place.

some of the issue recently is down to our formation. Keeping players wide on each channel and 20 yards between the 2 central midfield players meant that 3 guys would always be out the game. That's not laziness - thats tactics from the manager I'm afraid. I don't believe any club have players who don't want to win a game of tiddlywinks never mind a game of footy. Clearly some players don't want to track back - thats a different problem.

We have some decent players, when played in the correct positions and have the opportunity to play to they're strengths. Hopefully we can get a manager in who can identify where and how to get the best out of them. If we can then we have the makings of a decent side.
