With Steve Thompson, could work. Better than Clough, Ferguson, Grey. Redfearn think Leeds fans liked him. he got up the table, now seasons settling down they're not doing much better. Only other if he's put in for it would be Paul Lambert, might want to cut his teeth again. Redfearn might be able to get Wootton back, Looking at Collins & Broadfoot friday night. Collins has lapses, did against Brighton, Broadfoot, might have been match fitness, could have got a foot in for there winning goal. But they're both ok for cover this season. Thorpe needs to be on the bench, in front of Ledesma, Richardson. At least Black as shown Halford he's not good enough.

Agree about Thorpe, he must get games. Don't want Redfearn, why would we? TS won't be going down that route, not when there must be better options within the 60+ applicants

gwru, I think we have to be realistic. I'm guessing Paul Lambert was probably paid more in a month than we will be offering for a year. Also he has been used to operating with a much bigger budget than we have so I can't see any way he will even be on our radar.

Lambert know he'll have got a massive pay-off, but he's out of work. Don't see no big clubs coming in for him.

he'll want a club he thinks he can take to the premier league - like he did with norwich. No way will he come to us and our budget. The only ex premier managers we could realistically get would be a holloway or maybe poyet

Paul Lambert has also been doing some media work in the meantime (he was on Radio 5 Live on Sunday) so he's probably just biding his time until the right job comes along.
I'll be amazed if he's even considered us!
