Rereading the posts show the complaints weren’t about failing to win every match. They were about negative and incomprehensibe tactics at home. There was a fantastic opportunity to open up a lead at the top of the table and we failed to take it.

From the first game of the season it was obvious with a 5 man midfield we would do better away from home. 6 home games or so in why not change tactics at home as they are obviously not working? Constructive criticism is not being disloyal - it is just wanting the club to do well. I am 100% behind Cook but slavish adherence to a system that doesn't work at FP will not get us where we want to be.

I totally agree with Corky re home games, the way we set up plus the lack of first half tempo combined is clearly not working. After Saturday the 2 home matches will tell us plenty.

New forward signed as cover for McGurk and Stockley LdB. Caolan Lavery.

Cook said: ‘I think the first big point for every player is his love for the game and hunger for the game and that will shine out to our supporters when they see Lavery.’

No Dunne again I note. Is he fit ? No sign of him in either of the 2 training ground friendlies. If he is fit are we paying him whilst not playing him similar to the Awfs/DC situation last season ? I haven't seen or heard of Dunne since he came on as sub late on in the Reading game.
