A cringeworthy article unfortunately.
However, he doesn't actually say he left us midtable. He says the team was near to what he considered capable of a mid-season finish, a mid-table finish is the minimum the team should acheive and that the back-to-back wins put them within 3 points of a cluster of clubs in or around mid table.

I'm surprised at PW's comment that Evans did FA in the Championship, which he has stated more than once. I consider avoiding relegation last season a great achievement for our club. I believe most of our fans feel the same.
I am sure that Doncaster and Barnsley would not have considered it "FA" if they had managed to stay up.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. I believe Evans did a wonderful job for us but I have heard enough about it now.

Is it a bit of a self indulgent statement? Yes.

Has he told any lies? Not really.

The guy is now out of work, he has to sell himself doesn't he?.

Its a shame we are struggling to see and be appreciative of what he achieved with us.

It fuels the fire for his haters but surely any Millers fan can appreciate what the guy achieved.

Lets all move on now eh?
