For those that are interested, Derby signed Kevin Hector from the now defunct Bradford Park Avenue for £40,000 in 1966.

To answer the other question, Brian Clough agreed buy Ian Storey-Moore from Forest. The fee was agreed and Moore agreed terms. He was actually presented to the crowd before a game, but before he actually signed the contract he changed his mind and joined Man Utd instead. Big mistake as he would have been part of the two Championship winning teams if he had joined us.

As it was, he went to Manure and got injured fairly soon afterwards and never played again. I guess he got what he deserved in the end!
