Just want to make every Queens fan aware of the following. I have a relative who is a resident in Charnwood Lodge, Annan Road, Dumfries and a couple of weeks ago I spoke to Victoria Thomson to try and organise a tour of the stadium with some of the residents. This took place last Friday with 5 residents making the trip across town. Jim Thomson was there to greet everyone and he then conducted the tour of the stadium. We also went across to the arena for teas and coffees. Highlights of the tour was getting into the changing rooms and out onto the edge of the pitch where the under 20's were training. A fantastic day was had by all. I mentioned to Victoria about the possibility of some of the players popping into Charnwood for a quick visit and guess what, yesterday afternoon Iain Russell, Chris Higgins, Mark Millar along with JT came across to Charnwood. Absolutely brilliant. You really cannot put a price on this. Makes you so proud to be a Doonhamer. Well done JT and Victoria.
