Wish the title of this thread was where NR was following this interview.

What did he expect when he took the job on, he knew the transfer window was shut and he would have to work with what he has got until January. He watched the games immediately before he took over so why can't he get the players performing to the levels they were then?

Constantly slating the players and moaning they are not good enough is not going to do anything for their self belief and confidence, nor is it going to make them see NR as the kind of gaffer they want to roll their sleeves up for and give everything for the cause.

There's an inevitable outcome if the players keep under performing week in and week out and it is far easier and cheaper to change the manager, than to change the full playing squad.

They are your players Mr Redfearn so start motivating them, training them, giving them a formation and game plan that works for them instead of crying like a baby and moaning what a bad lot you ha

More worryingly the solution to the problem seems to be exactly what Evans was asked to leave for - signing as many players as possible and hoping one of them comes good.

In terms of signings, most are players others don't want or been kicking around in someone elses reserves, that I don't have an issue with at all, it's just it seems to be the same plan as SE without the motivational belly.
